FRFV Ceramic Feed Valve

KOWOV manufactures the FRFV ceramic pressurized feed valve for titanium dioxide and organosilicon powder feeding. It discharges powder continuously into a system at higher pressure and keeps gas from the reactor or system out of the upstream hopper; it is fully ceramic-lined and hard-sealed, and can serve as an on-off valve or a control valve

Design and construction

  • Fully ceramic-lined and hard-sealed, with a clean, low-contamination flow path
  • Discharges continuously when the downstream pressure is higher than the upstream pressure, and stops gas flowing back into the hopper
  • Works as an on-off valve or a control valve
  • The usable pressure difference depends on the configuration; interlocks are set in the customer’s process control
  • How well it feeds depends on the powder’s flowability and the system conditions, so gas-tightness and feed-rate figures are agreed for each order

Applications

  • Used for pressure-fed titanium dioxide powder discharge valves, organic silicon powder conveying valves, and similar applications
